  • Build & maintain a customer base.
  • Have a strong understanding of all services provided.
  • Provide accurate quotations using the in-house calculator.
  • Keep an up-to-date sales pipeline and actively chase your strongest leads.
  • Self-generate meetings with potential new customers via Teams or Face to Face.
  • Provide a high level of customer care.
Job skills required for Road Freight Business Development Manager
  • Extensive experience within freight forwarding sales.
  • Ability to generate your own sales leads.
  • Experience managing customer accounts.
  • Experience using Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding exports.
  • Manage your own diary.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to build relationships.
