Home/Field Based Business Development Manager - Architectural Ironmongery for the Healthcare sector(M62 Corridor)Reed are recruiting on behalf of one of our favourite clients, a dynamic, modern challenger brand in their field, for a Business Development Manager to cover their North of England territory. This is a rapidly growing organisation that design and supply architectural ironmongery to the healthcare sector, through a specification route via architects, as well as directly to estates and clinical teams in both the NHS and private healthcare organisations.Successful experience of selling either specification sales, or selling into the healthcare sector (medical devices, pharmaceutical sales etc), would be desirable for this role, even better if you have specified products for the healthcare sector or sold directly to NHS estates or clinical staff. This role has come about due to an amicable departure of the current territory manager, so you would be taking over an established territory, building on an established client base and relationship, although you would also be expected to push fornew business. There has never been a better time to join this organisation. There are increasing their market share and reputation year on year, they have just improved their commission structure, they have built a strong senior leadership team over the last couple of years, and put in place a clear vision and plan for the future. There is also a framework for progression attached to this role - the plan would be to hire another BDM to support you, as well as a desk-based salesperson within the first year in the role, both of whom you would be managing as your role evolves into a Senior BDM.If you would like to hear more about this role, get an application in today and I can be in touch with more details!
