Job Description

Business Development Manager - Uncapped CommissionManchesterAn exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join a successful business recovery firm as a Business Development Manager. The firm, who have been operating for the last few years in the centre of Manchester, provide advice and services for companies going through insolvency, administration, and liquidation.You will be joining one of the most successful independent recovery firms in the North West, where you will mainly work remotely and be out visiting new clients across Manchester and the North West. When necessary, you will visit the modern, state-of-the-art office, located in the Ancoats area of Central Manchester.You will join as a Business Development Manager, where you will earn a substantial base salary, and be eligible for uncapped commission.What you will do as the Business Development Manager:

  • Generate new business for the business around the North West region via client meetings
  • Manage your own target and be accountable for delivering against these, including reporting to the Director your MI, forecasts and performance.
  • Manage your existing network, and existing introducers to establish and create long-lasting working relationships
  • Attend key events and be proactive to ensure maximum value
  • Create a consistent pipeline of business
  • Your clients will be from varied industries, but will mainly work in the accounting sector, so access to this network would be beneficial
  • What you will need as the Business Development Manager:
  • Excellent communication and ability to develop and nurture business relationships
  • Experience in a sales role, where you have worked towards billing targets and KPIs
  • An adaptable approach to suit each personality and opportunity
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car
  • Have a network of Accountancy contacts, either via personal or professional relationships
  • What will make it easier for you as the Business Development Manager:
  • Previous experience working in sales within the finance industry
  • An understanding of numbers and figures
