Job Description

Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: ManchesterSalary: Base £30,000 - £60,000 OTE £85,000 - £130,000Job type: Full time - PermanentEleven Sports Media are firmly established across some of the worlds elite sporting leagues, including the English Premier League, EFL Championship, Major League Soccer (MLS) and the NFL, youll find us at many of the worlds most iconic sporting venues.We are a technology first company that operates Sports Partnership sales on behalf of Elite Sporting Rights Holders. With an industry leading reputation forged over a decade of working with some of the most recognisable names across the Sporting landscape,we are undergoing a rapid period of growth and are looking to add an experienced business development manager to add to our U.S Sports division to work alongside rights holders across North America.The role As a business development manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales of our community partnerships on behalf of specific clubs within the Premier League, EFL and other sports leagues. With our unrivalled commission structure, you will have an OTE of £85,000 - £130,000The is a hybrid position working alongside our U.S partnership sales team, operating within the hours of 14:00 - 22:00 Mon - Thurs and 12:00 - 19:00 on Fridays with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office where required.Our modern offices situated in Ancoats, Manchester, offer an in-house gym, coffee shop and business lounge to accommodate our team. Easily accessible with nearby metro links and located within a 10-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria stations.The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of 3 years within a direct B2B selling environment
  • Preferably experience in sitting own appointments with C-Suite level directors (not essential as training can be given)
  • Proficient in using modern CRM systems
  • Experience in lead generation
  • The ability to present and sell over the phone, via Teams/Zoom
  • The desire to hunt new business
  • Experience as a business development manager, sales executive or B2B sales
  • OR experience within face-to-face sales with a phone-based background / business development
Main Responsibilities
  • Working on behalf of Sports Rights Holders (clubs)
  • Prospecting your own data, gathering all key business information and contact details
  • Generating your own appointments with c-suite and director level decision makers
  • Arranging video conferencing meetings via Teams and/or Zoom with a view to completing sales with a fast turnaround time.
  • Generating new business by selling and explaining the benefits of becoming a Community Partner with our associated football clubs
  • Selling the portfolio of Eleven Sports Media Community Partnerships and products to new customers
