We have our head office in Manchester, as well as a Media office in London.Job DescriptionWe are now recruiting a business analyst to join our business improvement team and work on enhancements to our main product offerings - Youinvest and Investcentre platforms.Key responsibilities:· You will gather, analyse and validate business requirements· You will create high quality specifications· You will work closely with product and regulatory stakeholders, development teams and external suppliers.· You will analyse solutions from all angles by modelling processes, mapping data and performi gap, impact and risk analysisto ensure that no detail is missed· You will support both internal development teams and external suppliers in the implementation of a change· You will seek to identify areas where improvement in systems and processes will lead to greater efficiency and ensure that these are brought to management attention· You will help users to get the best value out of our platform by ensuring that they understand what the platform can do and how it is best usedQualificationsWe are looking for a Business Analyst with:· Proven experience of working as an Agile Business Analyst working closely with product owners, software development teams and other business stakeholders· A proven track record of delivery on both large software development projects and smaller individual changes· Experience of facilitating and managing workshops and meetings· Experience of working in the financial services industry (preferred not essential)· Experience in writing user stories, modelling processes, and documenting requirements· Highly organised and self-motivated· Superb written and verbal skills· Excellent analytical and lateral thinking skills· Good knowledge of technology, products and systems· Excellent stakeholder management skills· Knowledge with Tibco, JIRA, Confluence or Trello beneficialAdditional InformationOur EQ4 office design is centred on delivering agile and collaborative working spaces that enable us to deliver a first class service to our customers.
