Job Description

Business Analyst urgently required to work on 6 months contract with possible extensionLocation: hybrid / occasional travel to Manchester / Blackpool OfficeIdeal Skills / experience required

  • Promoting and building strong relationships with a broad range of people (technical and non-technical), and applying proven communication, and analytical skills to ensure the teams plans and objectives are achieved
  • Translate the business problem and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for the solution that aligns with best practice methodology, with the appropriate use of epics, features, user stories, and defined acceptance criteria.
  • Can identify, elicit and define non-functional requirements using NFR catalogues or similar. Collaboratively supports the prioritisation of the backlog.
  • Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and other techniques to effectively understand the business problems and user needs.
  • Can confidently elicit and define epics, user stories & acceptance criteria following best practice principles
  • Being adaptable in shifting and uncertain environments
  • Communicating in a variety of methods, applying the appropriate methods to each scenario/audience
  • Knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience of requirements definition and management for mobile apps
  • Experience working as a Product Manager in an Agile/Scrum Environment
