Job Description

Becoming aBusiness Analyst withSmart DCC:Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 month contract as a Business Analyst based from London or Manchester with some remote working available. The Business Analyst will be assigned to various programmes and projects within DCC, delivering under theDCCs Change Delivery Methodology.What youll be doing:Lead requirement gathering workshops (internal and external) to capture functional and non-functional requirementsWrite requirements specifications in using standard templates in accordance with the chosen project methodologyLead business process workshops (Internal and external) to develop end-to-end cross functional business processesPerform Gap Analysis and Impact Assessment of any changes as defined in the DCC Change ProcessMaintain excellent relationships with the DCC suppliers, BEIS, regulators and other external stakeholdersWhat were looking for:

  • Extensive experience of excellent business analysis including requirements gathering, impact analysis, gap analysis, workshop facilitation, process mapping, business process re-engineering and requirements definition, User story writing, Sprint planning,conceptual thinking and design thinking
  • Experience of working on waterfall, incremental and AGILE projects.
  • Experience working on finance systems transformation projects or programmes
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently & in a team, effectively manage their own time and good organisational skills in a diverse, open and friendly environment.
