We are working on behalf of a global insurer with strong market presence and excellent reputation based in prestigious Manchester city centre offices. The business prides itself on their broad commercial product offering which it distributes via a varied panel of brokers throughout the UK.To support plans for growth our client is looking to attract a proactive and results focused individual to form part of a dedicated, office based business development team. Responsible for a nationally based broker panel your role will involve working across broad range of commercial product, increasing income and brand awareness via effective telephone based relationship management. Reporting into the UK Director and working closely with a highly experienced underwriting team your role will be varied and interesting involving high levels of broker and client interaction.Applicants must come from a commercial insurance background and have had previous exposure to commercial risks. It is essential that you are an assertive and tenacious individual with the ability to successfully extract information without compromising relationships with brokers. You should be fully computer literate with a good working knowledge of excel.
