Job Description

Bodybuilders / Coach BuildersAs an established, major constructor of high-quality LCV and HGV commercial bodies, Alloy Bodies continues to face increased demand from both existing and new customers.As a result, we are looking to recruit proven Skilled and Semi-Skilled Bodybuilders / Coach Builders, based at our site in Manchester. The candidate will earn up to £15, per hour, depending on experience, plus a competitive bonus system.The candidate will work 39 hours per week between 7am-5pm, with the potential for shift work.This role brings excellent long-term job satisfaction, and the potential to grow your skill set as a valued member of our current team.Role Requirements

  • Possesses a range of skills and knowledge associated with the fabrication and manufacture of commercial vehicle bodywork, from work instruction to a complete vehicle.
  • Is able to provide a high standard of workmanship.
  • Is able to problem solve build issues.
  • Will be flexible within the role.
  • Is reliable.
  • Is well-motivated.
  • Is enthusiastic.
Role Responsibilities
  • Setting out of underframe.
  • Mounting bracket positioning etc.
  • Complete construction of all types of fabricated bodywork.
  • Quality control of own work.
  • Ensuring your work area always remains clean, tidy and free from any hazards.
  • Using manufacturers repair methods to disassemble and reassemble.
  • Working closely with other team members.
