My client is a manufacturing company based in Manchester. They manufacture various consumer products from house hold cleaning products to automotive general products.They require a blending operative to undertake the following duties:-Produce Surfactant based products for both household toiletries and cosmetics-Read and understand Batch Sheet construction-Using bench scales to weigh dyes and perfumes-Using floor scales to weigh larger quantities of raw materials-Weighing of powders correctly-Taking PH and cross referencing to Batch SheetsTaking SG and cross referencing to Batch Sheets-Entering all above information and raw material batch numbers on to Batch Sheet-Pumping finished product to storage vessel using diaphragm or mono pumpsTraining will be provided. There will also be forklift truck driving duties (Counterbalance) so an in date counterbalance licence is required for this position. You will be responsible for the transportation of goods and pallets around the warehouse or site. The role of a forklift driverinvolves the following duties: Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles. Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.Some of the work will be outdoors, in all weathers.There are temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate.The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:00am - 5:00pm and 07:00am - 12:45pm on Friday.
