  • Required to be proficient in BizTalk and .Net C#/ in order to successfully join this team.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to convert business requirements into practical solutions, to deliver high quality products that are fit for purpose, robust and secure.
  • Provide hands-on support & mentoring to advance the skills of other software developers, promoting the sharing of technical knowledge and adoption of technical practices through mentoring, team meetings / lunch and learns etc. as well as formal written documentation.
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals to support individual development and wider departmental continuous improvement
  • This is a great opportunity to join an experienced development team and have an influence on new application development projects AQA continues to transform platforms from Oracle to Microsoft (full stack).Required Technical Skills and Experience
  • Full SDLC with bespoke development projects and support of applications written (bug fixes, change requests, increased functionality etc.)
  • BizTalk 2016 + clustering
  • Visual Studio 2015, C#, ASP.Net
  • Multi-tier Software Development
  • SQL Server 2016 and T-SQL
  • ETL using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Agile Methodologies - SCRUM
  • Knowledge of Source Code Control/Configuration Management
  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communicator, able to engage internal colleagues, external partners and business stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity of requirements, the positioning of proposed solutions and securing the buy-in to the proposed solutions.
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach, engaging constructively with others to achieve the best outcome for AQA, even in pressure situations.
  • Ability to analyse situations and identify potential solutions, working with the business and delivering through best practice.
  • Expertise in successfully evaluating, developing and implementing change, prizing the right outcome above individual opinions or agendas
