• Run the team of two or be part of a two-man team
• Fully manage the job to completion - on time, to specification
• Work to the specification set out in the quote
• Ensure the job is completed within the allotted timeframe
• Be the main point for safety of the team and people around
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by yourself and the team
• Make sure all appropriate PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) is worn and is being used correctly
• Feel empowered to stop the job at any point if you see anything that is unsafe
• ESS WFH
• Experience of working at height and using access equipment
• This includes but is not specific to: Ladders, MEWPS (Mobile elevated working platforms), Mobile access towers, traditional scaffolding, and Scissor lifts
• Can problem solve on site to ensure the job gets completed to a high standard
• Ensure the job is completed to the highest of standards with no call backs
• Understanding of varied materials
• The use of Corner eye bolt fixings and intermediate fixings in various materials including wood, concrete and steel using drills
• Installing DX fixings into steel girders using a Hilti DX gun
• Competent in using hand and power tools
• Handheld cordless hammer drills, Impact drivers, hand drills, DX Gun, Jet wash etc
• Be certified with SSSTS or site Manager
• Be trained and competent in the management of a team that is working on site, this would include their health and safety, general wellbeing and making sure standards are met
• This role will include working weekends and unsociable hours, as much notice as possible will be given, but you must be flexible in your approach and availability for this type of work
• Be available to work away
• We must go where the work is, so sometimes you will need to stay in accommodation away from home to facilitate this. You must be flexible in your availability to this, although, as much notice as possible will be given, this isnt always possible.
