Job Description

A new Fully Remote Bid Manager role for a multinational Facilities Management company. This position will be bid writing focused, putting together high value bids for industries including government, public sector, and military. There are currently two positionsavailable to join this well established bids function.Client DetailsOur client are a multinational facilities management company, offering hospitality and catering services to a variety of industries across the private and public sector. Operating for over 50 years, they are a market leader in their sector.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the Bid Manager will include:

  • Participate and contribute to sales and retention strategy meetings
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to create and deliver successful bid plans. Including: researching required responses, story-boarding the bid, providing response templates and ensuring all responses are submitted at the required time, to therequired standard
  • Challenge stakeholders across the group to ensure all processes are compliant.
  • Own designated questions, review, edit and enhance all answers insuring that there is an introduction and summary for each section where relevant
  • Author first draft executive summaries
  • Author case studies and CVs that are high impact, relevant and adhere to brand standards
  • Provide style guides and writer instructions to all members of the bid team
  • Develop new content for the knowledge library.
ProfileThe successful Bid Manager will have the following experience:* 3 years+ bid writing/editing experience* Experience in industries including soft FM, Hard FM, professional services or construction bid writing is desirable* Able to work as part of a team and independently using their own initiative* Proven track record in working on and winning complex, high value bids* Proven track record of persuasive bid writing to create compelling sales documents* Able to build relationships internally and externally* Creative, strategic thinking and ability to look at different ways of doing things. Willingness to develop, drive and implement new solutions* Appropriate experience in tender management methodology* Ability to work in a fast paced environmentJob OfferOn offer for the successful Bid Manager:
