Job Description

Bid Manager - IT Reseller£45,000 - £60,000 + BenefitsManchester, North West (Hybrid)A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Bid Manager, to join a global leading IT solutions providers, who are a trusted supplier of IT Hardware, Software and Integrated IT Solutions to the worlds top global technology providers!As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex public and private sector bids as well as developing and embedding bid best practice processes. Duties will include: creating presales documentation and presentations, producing tendering plans,producing cost models and tracking completion of written assignments, whilst also organising appropriate document approvals and bid submissions.To be successful, the Bid Manager must have the following skills and experience:

  • Successful management of highly complex bids with numerous stakeholders
  • Experience of bids within the IT/IT services sector, preferably working for an IT Reseller
  • APMP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Working within a complex and diverse environment
  • Leading and embedding bid best practice
  • Accountability for the bid process from cradle to grave
  • Ability to analyse complex client needs and determine a suitable response
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts
The successful Bid Manager can expect a salary of up to £60,000 (negotiable dependent on experience).
