Job Description

Job Title: Business Intelligence ManagerPermanent, Salary €45,000 - €50,000Immediately AvailableLocation: Barcelona (Relocation Required)My client is looking for an experienced BI Developer to work from their Barcelona office and manage a team of Business Intelligence Analysts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining BI solutions. This will involve experience working with data warehouses, and the ability to generate reports on financial, operational and market intelligence. You will need to be a leader!Based on your strong working knowledge of business trends you will analyse, product, market and share trends executing queries to obtain data to share and communicate with all levels of management.Responsibilities

  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g reporting tools)
  • Developing and implementing reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision making.
  • Develop and execute database queries
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Using warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision making and business performance monitoring.
  • Maintaining data analytics platforms.
  • Generating and delivering quality reports, and visualisations to the business.
    • Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a BI Developer
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining
  • Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL
  • Knowledge of reporting tools and BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
  • Experience in developing SQL (T-SQL), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written) - other European languages big plus!
