Role - Business Intelligence DeveloperSector - Energy and Sustainability Location - South ManchesterSalary - Up to £45,000Skills - SQL and QlikSense / PowerBI / TableauWork Pattern - Hybrid - 2/3 Days a Week in Office.SummaryWe have a brand-new opportunity for a BI Developer to work within the energy and sustainability industry. This is an every-growing and hugely popular sector to work in, in this case you will help their clients manage and reduce their energy outputs and carbonfootprints. The CompanyThis business has been on a phenomenal trajectory, with extensive growth and has had to double in size to keep pace. They work with a wide range of organisations, across multiple industries to help reduce and manage their energy usage, make them more sustainable, get on top of legislation and to aid in sourcing sustainability products. They work with big names and smaller organisations and have a very varied client base.Their growth has been so great they have recently moved to a much bigger office! The role is easily commutable from Central Manchester (5 mins walk from the tram) and it is offered on a hybrid basis with 2/3 days a week at home. They do also have parking available. The RoleThis is a great opportunity if you are looking for the next step in your career. This role would provide a great opportunity to develop your skills further as they offer in depth training through a well-established Qlik partner.QlikSense is the primary BI system used by this organisation, however, experience using QlikSense is not essential and if you are experienced with another reporting platform (such as PowerBI) they will definitely still be interested. Each client has their own application with QlikSense and you will be responsible for building these, alongside Ad-Hoc reporting where needed. Initially the system was brought in to provide their clients with creative visualisations, showing how implementedmeasures can reduce their energy usage but over the last year it has become more widely used and is now also being used for internal MI.The role will also involve producing reports internally as they look to use BI to optimise business performance. You will have the opportunity to essentially spearhead the growing use of BI internally with plenty of opportunities to directly contribute tohow data is used within the company. We are looking for someone who has a strong analytical ability and can confidently produce reports to be delivered to stakeholders at different levels of the business as well as externally. For this role we dont need "loads" of previous experience but wedo need a good grounding and someone with the confidence and gravitas to stand on their own two feet and present these dashboards.Key Duties
