High School1-1 Tutor/Behaviour MentorHulmeProspero teaching are working with an Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) school in Hulme, the school deal with students with additional needs and behaviour needs similar to a PRU settingWe require a mentor to work 121 with pupils who are struggling to attend school.For this particular role YOU MUST DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN CAR WITH BUSINESS INSURANCE as you will be meeting students in their own home you will be driving from house to house.The role is to start in September 2021.A bit about the schoolSEND School that deals with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) all students have a statement for SEN needs due to behaviour or their additional needs All students have challenging behaviour and many are dealing with mental health issues.Many of the students are on the autism spectrum and have ADHD (they take medication to manage this)Candidates who suit this type of work tend to be good with young people, a good role model but also can relate to the issues young people face in inner-city areas.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:- Hold Right to Work in the UK - Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - Provide two professional references If this role appeals to you, click apply now.
