Our client is a well-established customer focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry. With a well-built reputation for offering reliable time-sensitive and next day deliveries, at competitive prices.Using a modern and expanding vehicle fleet thats fully supported by state-of-the-art technology, and serving destinations throughout the UK as well as mainland Europe. We are now looking for a BDM to sell and promote road freight and air freight services based in Manchester you have the potential to sell throughout the whole of the UK but mainly concentrating in the Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds/Bradford, North Eastareas Your role will involve.* Developing and nurturing existing and potential business relationships.* Onsite customer visits as well as telephone and email interaction (cold and warm calling)* Working alongside the operations team to identify potential issues and work on a resolution favourable for all parties.* Weekly stakeholder report advising who has been visited and feedback (positive and negative)* Promoting and selling all of the freight services Preferred Skills / Experience.* Experience within either the road haulage or airfreight industry (freight forwarder accepted)* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)* Driving licence (no more than 6 points)Benefits Salary:£35k - £40k DOE + Car and Benefits
