Job Description

Cloud Engineer - Remote - Up to £75,000Job DescriptionMy client are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the Cloud Implementation team in the definition, creation, and delivery of Professional Services for our customers. Initially this will be working on migrations into Azure, the creation of Landing Zones,Azure Virtual Desktop, and customer enablement workshops. However, as we grow, we will bring more and more services in-house that the team will be working on.Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of projects from pre-sales scoping to project planning and implementation
  • Delivery of customer enablement workshops (this can be anything from an Azure Quick Start to a Level 3 workshop on a certain area)
  • Engage with the Service Delivery team to collaborate on future services that we can deliver to customers
  • Designing and documenting customer solutions

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience Delivering workshops and/or training to colleagues or customers
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure service offerings and products
  • Practical knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Good knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, OSI, and VPNs
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc
  • Experience of Project Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Boards etc
  • Good experience with ARM, Terraform, or Bicep for writing IaC
  • Good working knowledge of Azure Migration tools such as Azure Migrate Assessment, Data Migration Assessment (DMA), SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), Azure Migrate Server Migration, Database Migration Service, Storage Migration Service
  • Experience with migrating and scaling Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix
Desirable
  • Production experience with M365 (particularly around security with MS-500)
  • DevOps Expert certification status
  • Scripting such as PowerShell or Python
