Job Description

AWS DevOps EngineerREF: JA27Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 dependent on experience Location: ManchesterJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeContact: Joel AmbroseAn exciting and dynamic Company AWS DevOps Engineer to help their clients with the build of their AWS solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, your role will involve collaborating with clients from day 1 to build well-architected solutions on AWS. You will also have exposure to Azure and Google cloud.Required Experience:

  • Excellent Linux / Windows system administration, scripting and automation skills (primarily with RHEL/CentOS) and a strong support background
  • Experience with one or more of Go (Golang), Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, PHP, etc
  • Experience deploying PHP applications to LAMP/LNMP stacks
  • The ability to speak confidently on the phone with clients
  • Creating and managing build/release pipelines
  • Excellent knowledge of git
    • Desirable Experience:
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure environments
  • Excellent knowledge of creating and updating ARM templates.
  • Experience deploying PHP applications to LAMP/LNMP stacks
  • Experience creating Ansible playbooks.
  • Experience writing C#
  • Jira and Bamboo.
  • Bitbucket
  • Up to date knowledge of AWS products
  • Ability to write CloudFormation or Terraform
