Job Description

AVAYA ENGINEERMANCHESTERUP TO £45,000IMMEDIATE START + BENEFITS PACKAGEProactive Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly successful company based in Manchester who, due to growth, are seeking an Avaya Engineer to join their team.The successful candidate will be assisting all customers with remote support, installation and training. Strong knowledge of Avaya cloud office / IP office 500v2 server addition is essential for this position.If you are seeking the opportunity to join an award winning company who have an aggressive growth plan for the next couple of years, then send your CV in for immediate consideration!As an Avaya Engineer for our client your duties will include;

  • Support with the installation of IP Office
  • Dealing with tickets logged by suppliers, business partners and customers on the IP Office Platform
  • Support with the installation of Avaya SBCs
  • Meeting with customers, booking jobs and installations
  • Work on long term projects, updating the project managers of the progress and completing the work within the agreed time frame
  • Support and installation of Avaya Contact Centres
  • Installation and configuration, maintenance and support of ACCS and IPOCC
  • Support and installation of Avaya Workforce Optimisation Select - AWFOS
The successful candidate will require;
  • At least 2 years experience as an Avaya Engineer is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Avaya cloud office / IP office 500v2 server addition is essential for this position
  • Knowledge of SIP Trunks, PBX and hosted systems (both install/maintenance support) is essential
  • General cabling infrastructure (data cabling and old school wiring)
  • Basic level of IT infrastructure i.e routers, switches, endpoints, WAPs, servers
  • Knowledge of IP networking (IP addresses, DNS servers, FQDNs, port forwarding)
  • Full UK Drivers license
