Job Description

Are you ready to join a Tech-First company who are revolutionising their industry through their collaborative and modern culture Apply now to be their Automation Test Engineer!The Candidate are recruiting for an Automation Test Engineer to join a delivery focused testing team in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Joining an innovative environment who are revolutionising the world of online sport gambling, the successful AutomationTest Engineer will work closely within a hybrid testing department to write, execute and deliver testing scripts whilst contributing towards the long-term testing strategy of the business. The Automation Test Engineer will work closely with the delivery team,will strive in fast-paced environment and will be motivated to deliver to the high quality we strive for. Realistically, this role would be perfect for a candidate who is looking for genuine technical autonomy in a business which values contribution and ideas.The whole business operates on a hybrid office model. You will be needed in the office 2 days per week with the rest remote (there is also flexible working hours to support!).Key Responsibilities of the Automation Test Engineer:

  • Take ownership of quality on automation projects whilst ensuring that testing is delivered in line with the project values of quality.
  • Responsible for writing and executing the automation test scripts with reports based on the results.
  • Reporting into the Test Lead, you will have a direct contribution to the overall testing strategy with a keen eye on defining a successful strategy for long term success.
  • Agile in application which being able to transpose your testing knowledge across both a web & mobile application.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Commercially experienced in automation testing in a modern technical environment
  • Experience working in Microsoft environments with selenium web driver for mobile & web application testing.
  • Proficiency using Jira and Confluence
  • People-led person who naturally enjoys the buzz of working within a close-knit team.
  • Quality focused and driven by the idea of making a real impact into a global scale-up
  • ISEB Qualification is advantageous
