Job Description

Automation QABasic: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefitsRole: Build and use automation test frameworksLocation: Hybrid - 4 days in the office (Manchester city centre or Cheshire location)WHY Private equity backed + fast growth + career progression

Our client is a fast growing, private equity backed SaaS Vendor who provide a unique platform used by a number of industries, combining a number of features into one end-end cloud solution that customers love. Culturally this business is passionate and enthusiastic,often described as a "breath of fresh air"! This company has tripled in size over the last 3 years and have plans to double in size again over the next 2 years!An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Automation QA to join the forward-thinking team. As an Automation Test Analyst, you will take ownership of building and using automation testing frameworks. You will use your expertise to influence test processesand support the transition of using test automation frameworks across the QA team. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact from day 1 and support the exciting growth and success of the business.Key Responsibilities: Automation QA
  • Take ownership of the test automation framework and processes
  • Determine whether test phases will be automated and selects and implements appropriate test tools
  • Use different approaches to estimate time-scales, effort and costs for the testing phases
  • Collaborate with the other Test Analysts, Developers, and internal teams
  • Mentor and coach other Analysts to up skill in Test Automation
Experience Required: Automation QA
  • 2+ years commercial experience building and using automation testing frameworks
  • Overall strong software testing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice test tools and techniques
  • Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Cypress, Nightwatch
