Job Description

As part of our clients development strategy for the Manchester Office, they now have a great opportunity for a talented Associate Director or Planning Director to assist in its continued growth and to lead in providing advice to major clients (particularlyhousebuilders, retailers and developers).You will be providing advice to some of the UKs best companies on some of the most exciting and challenging projects. In return, you will work in a culture that is dynamic and highly innovative.Responsibilities:Reporting to a Senior Director, you will be working on a number of projects and will normally undertake the following areas of work:

  • site appraisals;
  • planning strategies;
  • planning applications and appeals
  • development plan representations; and
  • providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process.
Qualifications:You are likely to have around 6 or more years experience, and have recently taken a key role on medium/large scale planning applications, for a variety of schemes. Experience of promoting strategic allocations and large scale development and regenerationschemes would be beneficial.You will be commercially minded, have market credibility and show a proven ability to win new work and clients and nurture existing client relationships to win repeat business.Rewards:The company offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, subject to experience.
