Position SummaryWe are seeking a bright, self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. The position will offer the candidate the opportunities to grow within the role. The DevOps Engineer will have a foundation level knowledge of cloud technology. They willbe assisting with the build-out, configuration and deployment of our infrastructure and software, including scaling, orchestration, and monitoring of supporting infrastructure. They will be working on and helping to develop our release pipeline solutions forglobal commercial software platforms. You are eager to learn new diverse tools and technologies, alongside classic enterprise technologies. Including vulnerability, security, and observability management. Responsibilities

  • Helping to automate and streamline our infrastructure, operations, and deployment processes.
  • Helping develop and build Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Building infrastructure with IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Helping to implement observability across the estate to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability.
  • Helping to manage vulnerabilities across the estate with automation and cloud native tooling.
  • Linux and/or Windows administration/scripting.
  • Assisting with Infrastructure troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
  • Reporting skills with PowerPoint
  • Team member role in on time, high quality delivery of products through the entire application lifecycle.
Education and experience
  • AWS practitioner certification
  • Relevant real-world experience
  • Awareness of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Proven knowledge of DevOps in AWS
  • Bash/PowerShell Scripting
  • IaC (Terraform and/or Cloud Formation)
  • Containerisation and Orchestration
