Job Description

So, are you ready for a new challenge We are on the lookout for a Finance Team Leader (P2P) to join our team.The P2P department is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of all invoices for garments, goods, and services. The talent, dedication and experience of our people is critical to our success.The P2P team ensures our merchandise and service suppliersaccounts are properly maintained, and that any problems which arise are resolved in a timely manner. This requires a high level of accuracy and goodP2P / AP knowledge, as well as a strong ability to communicate, build and maintain relationships with suppliersand other key stakeholders within N Brown.Assistant Team Leader responsibilities:

  • Deputise workloads for Team Leader
  • Manage performance through monitoring KPIs
  • Ensure all internal and external SLAs are met
  • Provide training and guidance to team members, supporting development
  • Review workflow trackers and complete daily huddles
  • Match purchase invoices to Goods Received Notes/ Goods Inward notes/ Purchase
  • Orders/ Import EFT payments and check calculations are correct
  • Interpret, analyse, and apply correct VAT calculations to meet VAT reporting
  • requirements in line with internal controls
  • Prepare the weekly payment run for GFR & GNFR suppliers in sterling and multiple
  • currencies
  • Reconcile all supplier statements in a timely rotation of one, three and six-month
  • intervals in line with calendar
  • Preparation of month end / half year/ year end accruals in line with finance timetable and
  • report on inconsistencies
  • Escalate where appropriate to Team Leader / Department Manager.
Here at N Brown, we are looking for a Assistant Team Leader with:
  • Understanding of basic T accounts, accruals, GRNI, pre-payments and financial impact
  • Respond well to conflicting priorities/changing deadlines
  • Be flexible within the team
  • Display a can do attitude and adapt to change
  • Computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud, TMI and legacy mainframe
