Job Description

Assistant Product Developer - up to £22,000 plus benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful retail business as an Assistant Product Developer. The company is expanding rapidly as a result of its success to date and if you would like the opportunity to bring your passion for design and product development to a place where you can make your mark and develop your career then this could be the right opportunity for you.Working alongside the Product Developer, the key purpose of this role is to support with the continuous improvement of product from a technical and commercial perspective, ensuring that quality is maintained and compliance legislation is adhered to. Improving retail sales and margin improvement is the key objective of this role.As the Assistant Product Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day to day sampling.
  • Maintaining style details on the PLM system.
  • Assisting in the creation of tech packs and costings on the PLM system.
  • Attending fit sessions and adding fit comments.
  • Assisting with sample measuring and comments.
  • Maintaining the critical path on the system and liaising with suppliers for relevant info.
  • Monitoring the progress of test reports, chasing suppliers and reporting issues.
  • Track the progress of care-label submissions and approvals.
  • Assisting in the approval of lab dips and submissions.
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of size charts.
  • Complete all admin preparation for any weekly/monthly/seasonal meetings.
  • You will have experience of working in a similar role and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
