Job Description

ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER | CORPORATE SCALE BUSINESS | FASHION | HYRBID WORKING | UP TO £30,000THE BENEFITS:

AS THE ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER YOU WILL BE:
  • Enthusiastic about product
  • Tenacious
  • Self motivating
  • Approachable
  • All about the detail
  • 2 years experience at MAA or Allocator level is essential
  • Have worked in a product focussed, commercial setting
  • Responsible for own sub-categories; Desired, but not essential
  • Experienced with mentoring others or managed MAAs
  • Desired but not essential: ability to plan, forecast or manipulate WSSI data
THE DETAIL:
  • Support your Merchandiser with all daily reports
  • Take accountability for trade reports, along with key notes and actions
  • Ability to work to deadlines, with accurate work always being completed
  • Provide historic data for all lessons learnt, range builds or sign off meetings
  • Proven track record of trading your department
  • Owning never OOS styles and line cards
  • Placing repeats, rebuys and actioning phasing & cancellation decision
  • Full ownership & accountability of the delivery schedule
  • Attend and support in all critical path meetings with your buying counterparts
  • Manage size curves/ratios, stock replenishment and general cover
  • Work collaboratively at all times with Buying team
