Job Description

This Brigg Scientific client are looking for an assistant Lab Technician to fulfil a role within their sample preparation Laboratory.Key Duties include:

  • Sample preparation and extraction, both solvent and aqueous
  • pH, Titration and other Wet Chemistry techniques
  • Assist with general housekeeping
  • Sample storage maintenance
    • This role will suit someone who is qualified to A-Level standard in Science subjects, but recent graduates will also be considered from Chemistry related fields, if they can demonstrate a willingness to commit and grow with the company.Training is offered towards the utilisation of analytical techniques including GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-Vis and FTIR, so candidates should be keen to learn and progress over their first 18 months.The role is permanent and carries a salary of £17,200.
