Global retail business are seeking a assistant financial controller to join their dynamic finance team.As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will report into the head of finance, and will be heavily centred around budgeting and forecasting. This role offers global coverage to the finance business partner, the key teams in the divisions phenomenal success,whilst communicating insightful and timely management information to key stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include:Responsible for the production and analysis of the weekly divisional forecasts, presenting results to wider finance teamProduction of the month end management accounts ensuring robust financial control, sharing insightful variance analysis as appropriateDevelop a business partnering relationship with wider stakeholders and senior leaders to support on brand financial plans to optimise profitabilitySupporting the Financial Controller and Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects and initiativesA great communicator, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of non-financial key stakeholdersSomeone who thrives on being able to work with an ambitious team to achieve defined profit initiativesThis role could involve responsibility for direct reports that are working towards their accountancy qualificationTo be considered for this position:Part Qualified/Finanlist Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA)Analytical skills, with the ability to effectively summarise and interpret data to wide range of stakeholders (SQL desirable)Ambitious and keen to add instant value across reportingProven record of delivering against targetsGreat communication skills with the ability to inform and influence non-financial stakeholdersTeam work to achieve division strategy and goalsFor more information on this assistant financial controller position within a high growth retail business based in Wythenshawe (Manchester), or any other finance roles in Greater Manchester or the surrounding area, please contact Dan Collins on or alternativelycall +Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
