The Company Overview:Butler rose are partnered with an international franchise service provider based in North, Greater Manchester. The company has relocated their finance team due to an acquisition therefore you will be joining a small newly created team. The successful candidatewill be responsible for managing the ledgers whilst offering support to a network of franchises. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious candidate keen to take on a challenge. In addition, there could be openings available for you outside of the UKas they have business interests in several countries globally.My client now has an immediate requirement for an Assistant Finance Manager and as a result, you will need to be either immediately available or available at short notice. This is a permanent position and after the induction period, a hybrid work model isavailable. 37.5 hour working week.Your new role as an Assistant Finance Manager:Your duties will include:Manage the sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring all transactions are entered accurately and timely, manage any queries raised within short time frames and ensure overdue debts are chased and balances bought current.Reconcile the banks, loading payments and creating direct debit collections.Ensure all accounts transactions are loaded into the accounting software.Prepare and post month end journals including but not limited to accruals, prepayments, and deferred income.Prepare central sales reports transactions and load into the accounting software so revenues and store invoices are loaded and sent out to the franchisees.Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, investigating any discrepancies and creating postings to ensure the P&L is accurate and complete.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring any differences are dealt with in a timely manner.Load company staff expenses in the accounts system and set up payment monthly.Supervise Finance & Controlling specialist ensuring transactions posted are timely and accurate.Review and approve monthly sales submissions from the stores, ensuring that this is completed according to the criteria set to them, dealing with any queries that may arise 9Prepare the quarterly VAT submission.You will undertake other Finance activities as and when directedThe Experience & Qualifications Required:The successful Candidate shall be/have:You must have an Accounting and Finance degreeExcellent written and spoken EnglishPrevious experience with software implementation would be a bonusSelf-StarterExperience working in an SME is preferableNegotiation and interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with colleagues in other departments, and external contacts such as franchisees, customers and suppliers.Experience working in a franchise, e-commerce or business service provider would be an advantageStrong Excel skills- pivot tables, Vlookups, ifs and SUMifsAt least 3 years experience in a Finance departmentPart qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMAYour Reward & The Package On Offer:As an Assistant Finance Manager, you shall receiveA salary between £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience25 days holidays + bank holidaysPensionBonus schemeStudy supportInterested Apply or get in touch on (M): , (T): to speak to Sonia Sidje and discuss the role further!Who Are Butler RoseButler Rose specialises in the recruitment of accountancy and finance professionals, from transactional and part-qualified appointments through to Group FDs.With offices in Manchester, Preston, Leeds, Birmingham, Exeter, London, Milton Keynes and Southampton, we work with a range of businesses across the UK from SMEs and local accountancy firms to large Plcs and the Big 4, as well as many public sector and not-for-profitorganisations.
