Assistant Director of Education - Special Educational Needs Greater Manchester £56,000 - £68,000 per annum REQUIREMENTSApplicants must have experience leading specialist further education (ages 16-18) settings.Applicants must have a strong understanding of the current Ofsted inspection framework and a track record of good ratings.Compass Associates are proud to be representing a reputable nonprofit organization which provides specialist education and care services in Greater Manchester. They have special education needs settings for key stages 1-4 and further education and residentialservices for children with disabilities, complex needs, and autism. They are well-established within the sector and are looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Education. THE ROLE As Assistant Director of Education, you will be in the organisations director-level management team; as such, you will engage in strategic planning meetings and support the organisation with growth plans in the coming years. The immediate focus of this position will be on the further education offering - you will directly line manage the college leadership and guide them to drive up standards of teaching and learning, while also identifying opportunities to develop the environmentand ethos. THE CANDIDATE You will have a strong background in specialist further education settings and will be confident finding innovative ways to support the organisation to ensure that high standards are set and met. The ideal candidate should have proven experience of delivering consistently high quality education and improving outcomes for learners within the sector, and therefore you should have a track record of good Ofsted ratings. The position requires somebody whohas extensive knowledge the current Ofsted inspection framework and is able to confidently work with senior leadership teams . The organisation is looking for someone who is motivated to play a vital role in helping them to achieve their goals.
