Assistant DC Operations Manager, Greater Manchester, £45,000 + BenefitsAre you looking to join a team that has seen substantial growth, a role where you can make a differenceIf so then this could be the job for you!This role is second in command at the large DC reporting directly into the DC Manager and oversee a team of Shift Managers, most of which have progressed through the ranks from supervisor level, demonstrating the business commitment to professional developmentfor their team.So, what will be involved in the roleIf youve worked as a Senior Manager is a large DC previously youll know what it takes - effectively managing the Shift Managers while planning and executing operational strategy, making sure day to day KPIs are met.Youll achieve this utilising your super-organisation and planning skills, as well as inspirational leadership and clear communication of goals.Naturally, H&S is one of the first and foremost considerations in the role, meaning youll engage with various stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to all relevant health & safety standards.Youll be based at the DC in Greater Manchester, the role is typically Monday to Friday with flexibility required in line with business needs - its a 24/7 buisness so if youve worked in a similar environment youll be used to this!So whats in it for youThe opportunity to join a market-leading business with significant international growth.
