Role overview:This appointment represents a unique opportunity to join an organisation going through change and development. Our current business plan has a number of high priority commitments to deliver over the next 2 years that have been identified as pivotal to northerntransformation and require an expansion of our technical capabilities.As Assistant Corporate Engagement Officer you will utilise technical knowledge in a specialist area to resolve procedural queries from across TfN. You will be expected to provide advice on a range of specialist policies and procedures. You will use yourinitiative to help shape content and projects on a range of specialist policy areas and possess a flair for creativity.You will undertake proactive and reactive corporate engagement and public relations activities, events and programmes implementing and delivering strategies and plans, taking a lead on all SRM systemrelated activities. To ensure all such support services meet core corporate objectives, including the management and enhancement of the organisations reputation and image.What were looking for:Educated to degree level of equivalent; the successful candidate will have Substantial experience of working in a multi-channel Communications/ Corporate Engagement role strong social science research skills; including experience of working with the media,elected officials and politicians.You will have the ability to evaluate Communications/ Corporate Engagement campaigns and to analyse, manipulate and report on such data and intelligence and the ability to communicate/present complex information concisely and to a non-technical audience.In return, as well as a competitive salary, our other benefits are: 27 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays Access to the local government pension scheme Access to various salary sacrifice benefits, including Travel Pass purchase scheme.
