Our award winning products include Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP), ISAs and Dealing Accounts.We are now recruiting a Team Leader for the Event Capture team within the asset servicing department which falls under our custody umbrella. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing the workload, development and performance of their team and they will work as a mentor and coach to ensure excellence and drive standards forward. They will act as the referral point for all technical queries from within the team and wider business.Key Responsibilities include;·Ensure all tasks, including those of the administrators, are completed in line with group procedures and service level agreements.·Ensure personal and team compliance with procedures at all times, with breaches/suspected breaches reported to Asset Servicing Manager immediately.·Maintain procedures to ensure their accuracy and resilience·Support project implementations, fixes and upgrades through testing of software and defining the needs of the team. Ensuring that all processes and procedures are updated in line with systemic implementations·Build and maintain strong working relationships across the wider business.·Produce daily, weekly and monthly KPI data and MI·Review/authorise work completed by Administrators·Define training plans for new starters·Work with existing team members to ensure their continued development·Ensuring that we are adhering with all compliance policies including AML, CASS, Clear Desk and breach reportingIt is important that the Team Leader works closely with other Team Leaders to ensure that information is passed on effectively across the teams. The role is an operations role so, because of the additional risks, it is essential that processes are performed to a high standard to ensure the ongoing success of AJ Bell.Competency, knowledge and skillsCompetence·Previous experience in a supervisory role within Operations, ideally gained within financial servicesKnowledge & Skill·Experience of managing a small/medium sized team either as a team leader or deputised as a team leader·Knowledge of Corporate Actions and Dividends·Experience of managing a complex process (Corporate Actions would be preferable)·Strong technical knowledge of back office operations·Knowledge of JHC Figaro and Interaction is preferred.·You will have already undertaken CISI examinations or be keen to do so in order to further develop your professional and technical knowledge.Full IOC qualification is desirable.In return we will provide all the training and support you need in order to develop within your role.
