Job Description

Asbestos Technical Manger - Manchester - North West£35,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsA fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy who due to growth are looking for an Asbestos Technical Manager to join their team in the North West. My client works on major sites in the UK and is looking for an Asbestos Technical Manager who hasprevious experience in this role. On offer is the chance to progress and really make your stamp within a market leading consultancy.Key Duties of the Asbestos Technical Manager includes:

  • Ensure technical standards are met and maintained by statutory regulations and by company quality accreditations
  • Have an input in report productions
  • Provide internal training and mentoring for new staff
  • Carry out site audits/witness audits for the North West region
  • Carry out sign-off audits to ensure staff meet technical competence
To be successful, applicants MUST possess:
  • CCP/CoCA qualification is highly desirable
  • Have the P402 up to P405 Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • Proven practical experience in analysis for asbestos, air monitoring, asbestos surveys and project management.
  • Experience working in a UKAS accredited consultancy and an in-depth knowledge of maintaining UKAS standards
  • Good IT and reporting capabilities - ability to interpret complex information
