Area Sales Manager - Timber Panel ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Timber Panel ProductsIndustry Sector: Industrial End Users, Timber Product Consumers, Builders Merchants, Timber Merchants, Roofing Merchants, Main Contractors, Joinery Manufacturers, Fencing, Site Hoarding, Timber Frame, Modular Buildings etc.Areas to be covered: North WestRemuneration: £35,000-£45,000 + 10-15% BonusBenefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car & Full BenefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Timber Panel Products will involve:Home based field sales role, selling a manufactured range of timber panel products including; fencing, site hoarding, timber frame, modular build etc. 60% selling into large industrial end users and timber product consumers such as fencing contractors, site hoarding contractors, timber frame companies, modular building companies, main contractors and joinery manufacturers40% timber merchants, builders merchants, roofing merchants50% new business development and 50% account managementInheriting a small number of existing accounts with a approx. turnover of £60,000 per monthTasked with growing the area to circa £200,000 per monthStimulating end user demand for the products with house builders, timber framemanufacturers, shop fitters, contractors and construction end usersGenerating new revenue at builders merchant branch level, establishing stock levels,merchandising, product training, product awareness and building relationships Fantastic marketing and internal sales supportThe ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Timber Panel Products with: Outstanding attitude, our client is looking for "can-do" approach, proactive nature,intelligence and roll sleeves up mentalityWill consider any previous technical field sales experience with house builders, timber frame manufacturers, shop fitters, construction companies, modular buildings, fencing contractors, site hoarding companies, DIY and furniture end usersAlso open to field sales experience, ideally having either worked for or sold to a builders merchants, timber merchant or roofing merchant"Commodity" field sales background preferred Relationship builder, but also capable of new business development Timber product knowledge is not essential, as full product training will be provided Attitude of looking for longevity in career, no job hoppers Hungry and with a desire to succeedThe Company: £100m+ UK turnover 200+ UK employees Privately heldIf your experience matches the requirements above please do not hesitate to contact Mitchell Maguire, simply apply by forwarding us a copy of your CV.
