Area Sales Manager - Kitchen TapsJob Title: Regional Sales Manager - Kitchen TapsIndustry Sector: Filter Taps, Boiler Water Taps, Oxygenating Taps, Regional Housebuilders, Private Developers, Restaurants, Hotels, Public Houses, Food Preparation, Dental Surgeries, GP Practises, Wholesale, Distribution, Kitchen Showrooms, Plumbers Merchants, Plumbing & Heating Wholesalers and Independent RetailersArea to be covered: North & MidlandsRemuneration: £40,000. + Uncapped Commission (Circa £8,000 Year One)Benefits: Fully expensed BMW & full benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Taps will involve:

  • Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of high end filter taps
  • Promoting taps for boiling water and also launching a new range of oxygenated taps with antibacterial and anti-odour properties, ideal for hygienic environments
  • New business development position, you will be the dedicated field sales representative for our client, working closely with one internal sales professional
  • Targeting regional housebuilders/ private developers (who build typically 10-50 properties) as well as commercial businesses that would benefit for the oxygenated tap such as restaurants, hotels, food preporation businesses, dental & GP surgeries etc.
  • Also tasked with building and developing a wholesale distribution customer base by targeting kitchen showrooms, plumbers merchants, plumbing & heating merchants, plumbing & heating wholesalers and independent retail showrooms
  • Tasked with generating £500,000 in year one (split approx. 50% boiler water taps 50% oxygenating taps)
  • Developing strategies and preparing the sales growth plan
  • Participated fully in reporting, forecasting and budget processes
    • The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager - Kitchen Taps, Faucets and Filter Cartridges with:
  • Proven track record of field sales, selling to regional housebuilders/ private developers or commercial businesses that would benefit for the oxygenated tap such as restaurants, hotels, food peroration businesses, dental & GP surgeries
  • Ideally you will have sold into the wholesale distribution sector with the likes of kitchen showrooms, plumbers merchants, plumbing & heating merchants, plumbing & heating wholesalers and independent retail showrooms
  • Knowledge of the UK kitchen filter tap marketplace is not essential but may be useful
  • Ideally from the KBB industry
  • New business hunter
  • Autonomous in nature
  • Comfortable in a small company environment
  • Likeable nature, comfortable in small close knit team environment
  • Self motivated and resilient / robust approach
  • Strong presentation skills
