Area Sales Manager - Construction ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Construction ProductsIndustry Sector: Construction Products, Construction Accessories, Concrete, Heavyside Building Products, Waterproofing, Brickwork, Ground Workers, Civil Engineering, Civil Contractors, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Geotechnical, Concrete Screed, Housebuilders,DevelopersArea to be covered: North West & North WalesRemuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending one experience) + negotiable bonusBenefits: Hybrid or electric company car & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of Area Sales Manager - Construction Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a distributed range of construction products such as: concrete, waterproofing, gas protection, reinforcement, masonry, brickworks, formwork, joint fillers, groundworks, slab, sealants, grouts etc
  • All of your time will be spent selling to housebuilders, developers, main contractors, sub-contractors, ground workers, civil contractors, geotechnical contractors and end users
  • Inheriting a well-established territory currently turning over circa £6m-£7m
  • Will manage circa 200+ account however the bulk of your work will be to hunt for new business
  • Liaising and supported by a fantastic internal sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Construction Products with:
  • Must have a proven track record in sales within the construction industry
  • Must have worked with a related product range such as: civils, heavyside, geotechnical, construction accessories, waterproofing, construction products etc
  • Would consider an internal candidate with product knowledge
  • Ideally relationships with housebuilders, developers, main contractors, sub-contractors, ground workers, civil contractors, geotechnical contractors and end users
  • Must have a hunter mentality
  • Must have determination and fire in your belly
  • Computer literate
