Area Sales Manager - Building ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Building ProductsIndustry Sector: Building Products, Building Materials, Construction, Fixings, Fastenings, Contractors, Electrical Wholesalers, Electrical Products, Wholesalers, Builders Merchants, Plumber Merchants, Merchants, Business Development Manager, Area Sales ManagerAreas to be covered: can be flexible ideally North West basedRemuneration: £35,000 - £40,000Benefits: £500 car allowance + benefits packageThe role Area Sales Manager - Fixing Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality range of fixings and associated products such as: fixings, power tools, plumbing products, screws & building chemicals etc
  • Hybrid office field based position however predominantly client facing
  • All of your time will be spent selling to electrical wholesalers
  • Dealing with a wide range of order values depending on size and scope of projects
  • Will be inheriting and look to build on a turnover of circa £6m
  • Will inherit circa 15-20 accounts
  • Will spend the majority of your time managing and getting more out of existing accounts
  • Will be responsible for 2 Internal Sales Executives
  • Reporting to and working closely with the Sales Director
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Fixing Products
  • Must have building product field sales experience
  • Must have sold to electrical wholesalers or builder merchants
  • Must understand the construction industry
  • Must be hungry, enthusiastic and driven
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • IT Literate
