Area ManagerThis is an exciting opportunity to join this fast expanding group of retail sites across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Area Manager to build relationships and support the team in store, ensuring they meet and exceed all commercial targets and providea best-in-class customer experience, championing colleague development.The ideal candidate will have…

  • Strong track record in Planning, Customer Service and People Management
  • Demonstrable management/leadership experience with significant profit and loss responsibility
  • Experience of monitoring and controlling Branch performance
  • Experience of leading a remote sales team
  • Proactively challenge and promote individual Branch goals
  • Confidence and stability when faced with difficult situations requiring decisions to be made quickly, effectively and appropriately
Role and responsibilities:
  • Create, manage, and develop a Area Business Plan, aligning success measures with both the branch network and the Business Development team.
  • Manage all aspects of the Area to meet KPI targets and maximise margins.
  • Ensure the development of individual Branch Ledgers, focusing on forecasting, analysis of sales and potential shortfalls
  • Building mutually beneficial business relationships with internal and external executives to maximise sales opportunities
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve Branch and Company objectives, including performance reviews, appraisals, disciplinary meetings.
  • Working with other Senior Managers, actively manage, develop and implement ways to organically grow sales and profits
  • Ensure efficient, correct implementation of all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Manage targeted sales for struggling branches, and campaigns for new branches
  • Liaise with the product team on ranges & prices for customer price scales.
  • Liaise with marketing dept, on campaigns, offers, support material.
  • Effectively using a CRM to assist in gathering information to provide insight and direction.
