Job Description

Applications & Configuration Analyst - £40 - £50,000 pa - ManchesterJNC are working with a nationally recognised organisation in Manchester that are looking to bring on an experienced Application & Configuration Analyst to join their talented EUC department.This is a pivotal role within the department where you will take ownership for the design and implementation of a range of End User Computing (EUC) applications and technologies.The ideal candidate will come from a strong EUC technical background and have extensive system and application analysis capabilities.Responsibilities:

  • Support and Maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Create and deploy Applications within EUC environment.
  • Support the setup and management of remote application deployments that use Intune, MECM and MDM environments.
  • Manage Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
  • Support and maintain alignment with EUC target operating models.
  • Manage the setup of Microsoft Security Patching
  • Manage and monitor the organisations Enterprise Infrastructure Management Systems.
  • Manage the license compliance and delivery of applications across the business.
  • Documentation for all associated projects.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Strong skills with Application Packaging.
  • Strong PowerShell Scripting skills.
  • Supporting Microsoft Intune and Co Management of Devices.
  • Supporting Microsoft Endpoint Analytics
  • Strong Desktop Applications troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong MS Office and standard business applications support capabilities.
  • Strong O365 troubleshooting skills
  • Strong App-V troubleshooting skills
  • Skills with Mobile Iron (MDM system)
  • Strong skills with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) (VMware Horizon)
  • Strong Design and Documentation skills.
