With current and future businessgrowth, there is an abundance of internal progression opportunities as well as daily opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.An opportunity has arisen for an Application Support Engineer to provide support for customer applications for a number of high-profile customers. In this role you will deal with a variety of issues, being the main point of contact for clientsand working together towards a full resolution in a timely fashion. Therefore troubleshooting, analytical skills, and excellent customer service skills are fundamental. You will have direct contact with customers via phone or email so you will need to feelcomfortable and confident speaking with these types of stakeholders. This is a brilliant opportunity forKey Responsibilities: Application Support Engineer
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients using the custom software and those who have technical issues or queries
  • Monitor the technical support queue, prioritising tickets and address priority support tasks
  • Monitor scheduled processes, raise tickets for any issues and address errors when needed
  • Provide maintenance and sometimes minor changes to existing systems
  • Work closely with development delivery teams to provide additional resource for development of product enhancements
Experience Required: Application Support Engineer
  • 1+ years working in a Technical or IT Support role providing support to people and applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a methodical approach to problem investigation and resolving issues
  • Understanding and knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and a desire to develop skills and career
  • Beneficial - write and maintain basic relationship database scripts using MSSQL or MySQL
  • Beneficial - Powershell or similar scripting experience
  • Beneficial - used support desk software such as Zendesk or Jira
