What will you be doing You will be doing application development - writing well designed, reusable, testable and maintainable code by applying best software development practices Debugging, diagnosing and fixing software related problems in developing and existing applications Participating and conducting code reviews and discovering, learning and implementing new technologies as and when required Collaborating and communicating with other engineers, solution architects, tech leads to help define & build efficient technical solutions Being available to mentor junior / graduate / apprentice developers on regular bases Contributing to feature team for continuous improvement within your feature as required Maintaining good working relationships with internal key stakeholders and Solution Architecture teams across multiple Business Units Being proactive in driving team cohesion by working well as part of the team and maintaining good relations with team membersWhat were looking for: In depth knowledge of the Android SDK, Java, Kotlin In depth knowledge of automated testingunit tests, UI tests, espresso, Roboelectric Experience working with REST APIs Experience working to Agile / Scrum methodologySkills that will help you in the role: In depth knowledge of Gradle, Groovy & CI tools Knowledge of Android NDK, C & C++ Knowledge of cross platform mobile development frameworks Flutter, React Native.Job Title: Android DeveloperLocation: Manchester, UKRate/Salary: 40000.00 - 85000.00 GBP YearlyJob Type: PermanentTrading as TEKsystems.
