Analytical ChemistCentral ManchesterPermanent opportunity We are working with a client who has an innovative drug delivery technology and are seeing an Analytical Chemist. They are a small, agile business that is delivering strong returns and pioneering a disruptive technology which allows for needle-free drug delivery, in several fields including certain classes of vaccines, as well as a broader range of Pharmaceuticals in pain control, hormonal therapies and other medical areas of need.This role will be based in Central Manchester and is offered on a permanent basis.What you’ll do:This is a role that will see you using analytical equipment to drive stability studies of pharmaceuticals to GMP standards. You will be using HPLC (Agilent equipment and Chemstation Software) and working on dry powder delivered formulations. There will be also particle sizing and physical characterisation.Your background:We are seeking a degree in Chemistry or equivalent (BSC / MChem) and ideally some experience of working in a GMP environment coupled with a strong knowledge of HPLC and stability studies.This could be suitable for a recent graduate who has background/introductory knowledge of industrial standards, this must be coupled with a strong grounding in HPLC.
