Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Practitioner Team with the Social Care industry in the Manchester City. The Qualified Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Practitioner Team vacancy in the Manchester City willbe for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake assessments of need and produce support plans which reflect the needs and wishes of the individual
  • Responding appropriately to all calls received after office hours and at weekends and bank holidays, when on duty
  • Prioritise and delegate work in a timely manner appropriate to need
  • Ability to lone work, take responsibility for any situation that arises out of hours and to work alongside professionals from other agencies covering an out of hours emergency service
  • Maintain electronic case records for the individuals who you support
  • Person centred assessments as required by the Care Act (2014)
  • Assessments under the Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards, (DoLS)
Experience preferred:
  • Post qualifying experience of working within a Qualified Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Practitioner Team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1 year post qualifying experience within UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
