Job Description

Job Title: Air & Ocean Branch ManagerLocation : ManchesterSalary : £50-£62k + bonus + car allowanceThis is the chance to join a leading freight forwarder and work with a successful and stable branch.As a branch manager you will be responsible for the below:- Leading and developing a team- Responsible for handling all budgets and P&L- Overseeing all new business development, sales and tenders- Handling recruitment and succession planning- Identifying new business opportunitiesThe successful candidate must have the below:- Multi-modal experience , ideally Air and Ocean- Proven track record of Branch management- Strong commercial awarenessInterviews to happen ASAP

  • Working closely with senior management to build the branch
  • Handling all freight operations , HR, Recruitment, Admin, Accounts, Sales and new business development
  • Looking at succession planning, staff training and growth
  • Branch P&L
  • Working closely with global offices
The successful candidate must have Ocean/Air freight experience and ideally come from a branch manager/regional manager background.Interviews to take place ASAPIdeally, they want someone with strong commercial awareness , ability to oversee multiple branches for future growth, strong Air and Ocean experience.This role will also involve being able to look at sales, driving sales, new markets and growing the business they have .They want someone who is looking for a long-term role, someone who is driven and motivated and wants a hands on role.
