Air Freight Clerk required for an expanding worldwide supply chain and distribution business. The Company offer a complete logistics package to their customers including Road, Sea & Air Freight, along with other divisions and specialist services. Previous Air Freight experience, either import or export, is essential for the role along with a passion for providing first class customer services. The role would suit someone with a couple of year experience as an Air Freight Clerk looking for a new challenge! The position is based close to Manchester Airport and the salary offered is up to £22,000 DOE.About The Role:· Entering bookings into the system · Completing documentation · Liaising with overseas agents · Checking rates · Clearing and delivering once arrived · All aspects of Air Import and Export · Arranging collections · Issuing export customs entries · Assisting with quotations Essential Skills & Experience· Previous experience working in an Air Freight role is essential, open to either import or export experience. · Ideally previous experience working within a busy freight forwarding company · Knowledge of handling hazardous materials cargo could be an advantage but is not essential · High attention to detail with excellent communication ability · Excellent telephone manner · Able to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently About The Benefits· Monday to Friday 9.00AM - 5.30PM · Salary of up to £22,000pa, dependent upon experience · 20 days holiday + bank hols · Based close to Manchester Airport · Free Parking · Training offered · Joining an established and friendly team within a stable and secure industry To ApplyIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV today!
