Agresso Systems AnalystCirca £45KManchester/Remote (one day on site evert fortnight)An Agresso Systems Analyst is required for our client based in Manchester. Working within a team environment, you will take on a range of tasks including supporting the Agresso ERP system and working to improve and develop the application. The purpose ofthis role is to design, develop and deliver solutions using the clients Agresso ERP platform. You will work closely with all stakeholders on continuous improvement opportunities, planning and implementing solutions that will deliver additional benefits tothe organisation. You will take ownership of the development and testing of these solutions and support customers through these implementations.Main responsibilities To perform day to day support for the deployed Agresso ERP system, providing support for DESKTOP and WEB users where required. Troubleshoot issues as required and liaise with software providers if necessary. To support the implementation of product updates/upgrades and participate in end to end system testing. Working with the Product Manager to define cost-effective and high-quality solutions which meet the needs of the business. To plan, design, test and implement changes to the live Agresso configuration, ensuring that system changes are deployed in a cost-effective, supportable manner. To work closely with the different business units to identify opportunities for process or system improvement To implement new Agresso functionality / modules where appropriate. Facilitate interviews and workshops with stakeholders Translate business requirements into system requirements and documenting as is and to be processes flows, where required. Ensure all configuration changes are adequately documented, tested, and deployed with no detriment to the production environment. Provide implementation support, including cutover planning and execution and end-user training where required.Technical knowledge and skillsSupporting a broad user base of the existing Agresso ERP system with a range of system queries across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.Strong understanding or experience of implementing one or more of the following Agresso areas (Sales Orders and Accounts Receivable knowledge would be beneficial):Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Rec, Contracts) ; Logistics (Purchasing, Sales Orders); Human Resources (HR, Payroll, Expenses) ; Planner ; Financial Information Centre ; ModelerUnderstanding of the following UK Products (desirable but not essential):AR/AP Auto Matching ; UK Direct Debit Interface ; ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) ; ITK (Interface Tool Kit)Strong understanding of Agresso technologies such as Excelerator, BIF, Workflow and Report Engine (including report migration from rpx to rerx).An understanding of accountancy and financial practices/procedures.Good SQL skills to query the database and configure reports.Experience of the full software project lifecycle including hands-on experience of the following:Requirements gathering and analysis ; Functional design ; System configuration ; Test planning and execution; Change management and end user training support ; Implementation support
