Job Description

Agile Coach required for an award winning tech startup.In scale up mode across the business due to recent investment and growth.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be assisting a growing Technology business in their search for an Agile Coach to lead their current squads to be high performing and follow the best agile practices.They are at early stage of an exciting journey in fighting waste reduction and looking for great talent to join them on their mission and work on cutting edge technologies.DescriptionThis role can be fully remote with occasional travel to their offices in the north west and the main duties will be:

  • Collaborating with developers, product owners and testers to ensure code is of excellent quality and to assist with formulating test scenarios
  • Developing, maintaining, and adding to test automation frameworks using the correct approach to automated testing
  • Knowing and using design patterns where appropriate.
  • Setting up the infrastructure to run tests by creating pipelines in CI/CD environments and running tests in parallel to ensure a fast response.
  • Generating and cleaning up of appropriate test data using scripts, APIs and various other services.
  • Setting up dashboards for reporting test results in real time to ensure that all stakeholders have a clear overview of the current quality level
  • Teaching others good quality and testing practices by the way of knowledge transfers and documentation of best practices.
ProfileExperience required:
  • Solid background in software development
  • Coding knowledge of C#
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of UI testing frameworks like Specflow and the use of Selenium and/or Appium
  • Basic SQL scripting abilities to interrogate databases
  • Source control (such as SVN)
